About Ludus Danielis

The traditional play of Daniel tells the story of the Babylonian King Belsazar who sees a mysterious handwriting on the wall which can only be undeciphered by the jewish savant Daniel.

A rock spectacle which brings the medieval world to our times!

On January 12th 2008, the premier took place at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. Andy Kuntz plays the role of Daniel and the other Vanden Plas play the music, together with medieval instrumentalists. Director of the play is Johannes Reitmeier (as for "Abydos") and Günter Werno is musical director. Günter Werno and Stephan Lill are responsible for the music.
