The story of the Vanden Plas Rock Opera "CHRISTO" was inspired by "The Count Of Monte Christo" by Alexandre Dumas. The opera features all songs from Vanden Plas' "Christ 0" album plus other Vanden Plas songs and two new ones. It will be played at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, Germany. Holger Hauer is the director, Günter Werno musical director and Andy Kuntz plays the main role, the character "Christo". The band Vanden Plas plays the songs live.
