When did you start to sing, and do you have any other hidden talents?
I started singing when I was 14 but I wanted to be a big guitar rock star. That was definitely not one of my hidden talents. I've got too crooked fingers. From time to time I paint. I also had some vernisages where I sold a few of my paintings.

What was your first band?
A punk rock band named "Rock Zock"

Have you been in any other bands?
Yes, I played with a French band called "Lady Blush", a mixture between Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.

What side projects have you done?
Missa Mercuria, Abydos. I also produced 2 albums of Snailshouse and the new Red Circuit

What do you like to do when you get time away from Vanden Plas?
I like to wander, to bike and to swim.

What other bands influenced you?
Kansas, Styx, Thin Lizzy, Van Halen, Genesis (the two first ones with Collins as singer), Magnum and Sting.

Sting

In Bourges (France) 1998 with Dream Theater and Angra
